The construction processes commence long before any works are undertaken on actual project sites as the design, co-ordination and CAD draughting tasks are carried out sometimes months in advance. It is a philosophy of the company that careful design, coordination and planning are essential to the smooth operation of any site construction and assurance that projects will be completed on time and within budget.
Our highly experienced team of design engineers, project managers and CAD draughtsmen are responsible for the pre-construction processes together with selection and ordering of plant equipment. Once site works are ready to commence, our site managers set up actual on-site administration and occupation of work areas.
Site managers have detailed knowledge of the industrial processes required to effect rapid construction systems from site establishment to commissioning and are responsible for the management of all on-site activities including quality assurance, testing and health and safety issues. They are in turn supported by site foremen and tradesmen who carry out the physical construction of services as detailed on the projects drawings and documents.
Together with the actual construction, the office based engineers and project managers maintain strict surveillance of quality standards and adherence to building code and local body requirements. They are also responsible for ensuring that testing certificates and staged completion certificates are signed off by and independent party eg. the property owner’s or consulting engineer’s representative.
